SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of energy. The waste heat exchanger of flue gases contains a water heat exchanger-waste-heat exchanger connected with a condensate collector and an inlet line of a steam boiler, equipped with a water treatment unit at the inlet. The inlet of the heat exchanger-utilizer, designed to heat the flow of untreated water to a temperature below the deposition of salts - calcium and magnesium carbonates, is communicated with the source of untreated water, and the outlet - with the inlet of the water treatment plant through an adjustable flow divider, which ensures the connection of a part of the water flow with condensate of flue gases in proportions of at least three to one. It also contains a heat pump that reduces the temperature of the heated water flow by 1-2°С. In this case, the heat pump heats the mixture of water and condensate, pumped by the water pump in the heat pump at a speed of at least 2 m / s, to the temperature of salt formation - calcium and magnesium carbonates, before entering the condensate trap. The outlet of the condensate collector is connected to the outlet of the water treatment plant and is equipped with water pH sensors and reagent dispensers to regulate it and exclude salt deposition in the boiler, and its bottom is with a salt collector. The condensate trap is equipped with a carbon dioxide outlet at the top.

EFFECT: invention allows reducing the deposition of salts - magnesium and calcium carbonates and energy consumption.
