FIELD: processing fibers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for processing fibers. The technical result is achieved by the fiber processing method, which includes the stage of continuous feeding of the fiber bundle. Then the first resin is applied to the fiber bundle by electrostatic deposition of the first resin particles. Next, the particles of the first resin are attached to the fiber bundle by heating and a surface coating is applied to at least one side of the fiber bundle by depositing filaments from the second resin.
EFFECT: proper permeability of the tape, which facilitates the processes of impregnation or injection, but does not cause breakage of the fibers, and minimal angular deformation, as well as improving the integrity of the fiber bundle structure.
