FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aqueous antiperspirant composition, including: a) an antiperspirant active substance AlCl3·6H2O, b) a mixture, including 1) at least, one basic substance, selected from basic amide and basic amine, where, at least, one basic substance is selected from, at least, one of urea, arginine, lysine, acetamine and guanidine, and 2) an additional material for basic amide and/or basic amine, where the additional material represents, at least, one material, selected from trimethyl glycine, trimethyl glycine hydrochloride, trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO), carnitine, sarcosine, opines, taurine, choline and dimethylsulphoniopropionate, and c) at least, 10 wt % of water; where AlCl3·6H2O, the basic compound and the additional material are present in such a way that the selection and quantity of each is such that an osmolytic system and/or an ionic liquid is formed.
EFFECT: invention ensures stabilisation of the antiperspirant against hydrolysis and polymerisation in the process of storage and increase of the antiperspirant activity.
