FIELD: paper sheet processing.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a device for paper sheet processing. It consists of an input unit into which paper sheets are put from the outside; an identification unit for identifying paper sheets exiting from the input unit and extending in the first direction and a unit for identifying paper sheets extending in the second direction, which is opposite the first direction; a temporary storage unit for temporary storage of paper sheets identified as acceptable by the identification unit; a dispensing unit for accepting paper sheets identified as unacceptable by the identification unit, allowing them to be picked up outside; and a storage unit for storing paper sheets supplied from the temporary storage unit and identified by the identification unit when passing through the identification unit in the second direction; while the paper sheets coming from the temporary storage unit and identified by the identification unit when passing through the identification unit in the second direction are moved to the input unit.

EFFECT: invention ensures effective paper sheet processing.
