FIELD: cryogenic technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic technology and can be used for storage and transportation of liquefied gas. The method for determining the optimal value of at least one first parameter of the process of cooling the inner space (11) of the tank (1) includes the steps at which a plurality of different values of the said first parameter are sequentially checked. Each phase of checking one of the values of the first parameter includes the stages at which the inner space (11) of the tank (1) is cooled, liquefied gas is loaded into it, the variable P1 is measured, representing the pressure in the thermal insulation barrier (5), and it is compared with a specific threshold value. An error is detected if the variable P1 crosses a specific threshold. A value is selected from the set of tested values as the optimal value of the first parameter, at which during the corresponding testing phase the cooling time of the inner space (11) was the smallest and no error was found.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving efficiency of the cooling process, ensuring safety and integrity of the tank structure.
