SUBSTANCE: usage: for non-destructive determination of material characteristics. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the device contains emitting / receiving cells, and each cell is designed to emit ultrasonic waves in the direction of the material, the characteristics of which must be determined in the mode of emission and reception of ultrasonic waves transmitted through the specified material, and the device for non-destructive characteristics determination contains a ring consisting of multiple adjacent corner sectors, with each corner sector containing ultrasonic cells stacked in the radial direction (DR) of the ring.
EFFECT: enabling the creation of a reliable and accurate ultrasonic device for non-destructive material characterization.
