FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy and can be used in the gas-dynamic cut-off of the final slag when tapping steel through the throat of the converter. The system contains two rocker arms rigidly interconnected, fixed with the possibility of rotation on a horizontal shaft installed in bearing supports perpendicular to the vertical plane, in which the longitudinal symmetry axis of the converter housing lies. The rocker arms are equipped with C-section guides with rollers installed in them, fixed for rotation on the end parts of the gas distribution chamber having longitudinal slot holes and rigidly connected to one end of the gas supply pipe, the other end of which is fixed in a hinged support and is connected to a shut-off valve by means of a pipeline, kinematically connected with the horizontal shaft of the rocker arms. The body of the cylindrical gas distribution chamber is enclosed by two sleeves rotatable relative to the body and carrying a slotted nozzle communicating with the longitudinal slotted openings of this chamber.

EFFECT: invention prevents instability of the gas-dynamic effect of the gas jets flowing from the slotted holes of the cylindrical chamber on the slag layer and reduces the amount of slag entering the casting ladle.
