FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of aircraft propeller blades from polymer composite materials (PCM). The propeller blade of the aircraft consists of a shell and an insert connected to each other, made of spheroplastic, which includes hollow polymer microspheres that can expand upon heating, and a thermoplastic polymer binder. The blade can have a sparless or integral design. The method for manufacturing the blade consists in the fact that the insert is made of spheroplastic, the package is assembled, including the shell blanks on the insert, the assembled package is placed in the forming tooling, the tooling is fixed in assembled form, and the package is heat-treated. For the manufacture of the insert, a spheroplastic is used, which includes hollow polymer microspheres that can expand upon heating, and a thermoplastic polymer binder. The heat treatment is carried out at a temperature sufficient for the development of thermal compression pressure due to the expansion of the microspheres to ensure the formation of the blade.
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at simplifying the blade manufacturing technology and the equipment used.
