FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder pre-polymer of thermo-compression syntactic foam plastic. Powder prepolymer of thermo-compression syntactic foam plastic contains polymer unexpanded microspheres, capable of expansion in temperature range of up to 150 °C, heat resistance not less than 170 °C, with diameter of up to 40 mcm in unexpanded state and bulk density in expanded state of not more than 40 kg/m3, taken in amount of 4–50 wt% of total weight of composition, powder of thermoplastic polymer with particle size of 1–315 mcm and flowing temperature (or melting) of not more than 150 °C, in amount of 50–95 wt% of total weight of composition, pyrogenic silicon dioxide with specific surface area of 175–380 m2/g in amount of 0.02–1 wt% of total weight of composition and inorganic filler-pigment in amount of 0–20 wt% of total weight of composition.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create syntactic foams by sintering method in shaping tooling, having the ability to secondary expansion and thermal welding.
