FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry and is intended for development of a gas and oil reservoir underlain with bottom water. The method includes drilling out of the reservoir with production wells, development thereof and further withdrawal of hydrocarbons. According to the invention, with a homogeneous oil part of the reservoir with low oil viscosity - up to 10 mPa⋅s, the reservoir is developed at the absolute gas-oil contact mark by radial mechanical drilling of channels up to 50 m in length parallel to the oil-water contact (OWC) line. The hydrocarbon flow rate and depression are calculated, wherein said debit and depression provide water breakthrough into the wells simultaneously along the entire length of the drilled channels with full coverage of depth thickness of the oil part of the reservoir. A uniform rise of the OWC is provided by weakening or eliminating formation of water cones to the bottoms of production wells. The production of hydrocarbons is stopped when the water content in the yield of the production wells reaches 98%.

EFFECT: increased oil production and efficiency of development of gas and oil reservoir by complete coverage of the oil-saturated reservoir with displacing water, as well as elimination of oil losses in the gas part of the reservoir.
