FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering and can be used in shell-and-tube heat exchangers. In a multi-pass shell-and-tube heat exchanger containing a cylindrical body, to the end sides of which tube sheets are welded, connected to the tube sheets by means of cover flanges, which together with the tube sheets form distribution chambers, installed on the body and on the covers, inlet and outlet pipes of the first and second heat carriers, fixed with their ends in the holes of the tube sheets, heat exchange tubes, blind longitudinal baffles in the distribution chambers, longitudinal baffles in the annular space, having slotted openings, which in adjacent baffles are adjacent to oppositely located tube sheets, the longitudinal baffles in the distribution chambers and in the annular space are made with closed perimeter walls and a common axis of symmetry with a cylindrical body, the internal longitudinal baffle in the annular space is connected by a flow channel with a branch pipe on a cylindrical body, spacers are installed in the slotted openings between the tube sheets and the edges of the longitudinal baffles, the heat exchange tubes have elements of discrete roughness in the form of transverse grooves and (or) a wound wire spiral, the longitudinal baffles in the annular space are made corrugated.
EFFECT: increasing the compactness and reliability of the device.
