FIELD: electroplating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating and can be used in medical technology, in particular, in the manufacture of surface electrodes for medical diagnostics. The method for forming an active layer on the surface of an electrode for removing biopotentials includes anodic polarization of an electrode with a conductive layer of silver in an aqueous solution of sodium chloride, while taurine is additionally introduced into the solution for electrochemical processing at the following ratio of components, g/l: sodium chloride 10-20, taurine 2-5, water up to 1 l, and processing is carried out at an anode current density of 4-5 mA/cm2, a solution temperature of 20-25°C and a duration of 3-5 minutes.
EFFECT: reduction of processing time and ensuring high accuracy of measurements of bioelectric potentials using surface electrodes.
