FIELD: experimental medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine, namely to neurology and physiology, and can be used to simulate the treatment of patients with motor and visceral disorders. For this, traumatic damage to the rat nervous system is performed, followed by implantation of electrodes into the spinous processes of L2-L4 vertebrae to conduct electrical stimulation (ES) with a frequency of 5 Hz, pulse duration of 0.2 ms at intensity of 1-10 mA. In this case, the hind limbs of the animal rest on the treadmill tape.
EFFECT: invention allows activating the locomotor activity of the hind limbs and muscles of the urinary system due to ES with minimally invasive implantation of electrodes, with its simplicity and low trauma.
