FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of measuring the resistance of soils and snow-ice formations to cutting, it can be used to determine the forces acting on the cutting body of road construction machines. A stand is proposed for measuring the resistance of soils and snow-ice formations to cutting, including a frame and strain gauge beams for registering the horizontal, vertical and lateral components of the cutting force, connected to the holder of the cutting body. The strain gauge beams are reinforced beams with a reduced cross-section in the places where the strain gauges are installed. The strain gauge beams are made in the form of an elongated parallelepiped, equipped with a through H-shaped groove stretched along the beam. The beams are fixed in the stand as cantilever beams. Strain gauge beam (4), registering the horizontal component of the cutting force, is installed perpendicular to the direction of movement of working body (5) with the axes of H-shaped groove (6) located in the vertical plane. The beam is rigidly fixed at one end in U-shaped bracket (3) connected to frame (1), and the other end of beam (4) is connected to triangular bracket (11) with the possibility of moving the end of beam (4) in the horizontal plane. Strain gauge beam (12), registering the vertical component of the cutting force, is installed perpendicular to the direction of movement of the working body with the axes of the H-shaped groove located in the horizontal plane. The beam is rigidly fixed at one end in triangular bracket (11), and the second end of beam (12) is connected to L-shaped plate (18) with the possibility of moving the end in the vertical plane. Strain gauge beam (22), registering the lateral component of the cutting force, is installed parallel to the direction of movement of the working body with the axes of the H-shaped groove located in the vertical plane. The beam is rigidly fixed at one end with L-shaped plate (18), and the second end is connected to base (29), on which holder (32) is fixed with working body (5), with the possibility of moving the end of beam (22) in the horizontal plane. In addition, holder (32) is installed with the possibility of changing the angle of installation of the working body, and the working body is installed with the possibility of changing the cutting angle relatively to the vertical axis.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of measuring the components of the cutting force, increased functionality of the stand and increased efficiency of its operation.
