FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions related to the field of medicine is presented. An antibody preparation suitable for intravenous administration to humans is presented, containing IgG, IgA, IgM in a certain amount, while the preparation is obtained from human plasma, wherein the antibody preparation has a protein concentration of 40 g/l to 80 g/l and has an immunoglobulin content of more than 90% of the total protein content. The use of the antibody preparation for the manufacture of a drug for the treatment of an immunological disorder or bacterial infection and a method for treating a patient suffering from a disorder selected from an immunological disorder or bacterial infection are proposed.
EFFECT: proposed group of inventions provides effective means and methods for complement activation.
