SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, namely to the sowing of agricultural crops, for example, sugar beet, corn, sunflower. The method of sowing agricultural crops consists in forming a sowing furrow, introducing seeds and a stimulating agent, closing the furrow with soil, compacting and slicking the soil over the furrow. As a stimulating agent, a gel-forming substance in the form of dry granules based on polyacrylamide is used. Seeds and granules are sown simultaneously, pointwise and by portions. For one seed, 1-2 granules are applied at a distance of 3-4 cm from it and 2-3 cm below the seed sowing level. The granules absorb gravity and capillary moisture when it moves in the soil, turning into a gel and preserving it for the entire growing season in the seed-sowing zone, thereby improving the conditions of their development.

EFFECT: portioned, pointwise application of granules helps to increase germination and seed survival, reduce their consumption and the cost of agricultural products.
