FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The amaranth sowing method includes pre-sowing treatment of seeds by coating each individual seed with a shell and subsequent embedding into the soil. At that the preliminary shell is formed using polymeric hydrogel which is used as an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polysaccharide derivative and polycarboxylic acid, and then the shell is lowered into filler which is used as water or an aqueous solution of hydrophilic substances. Then the seeds are placed individually into each shell during the sowing process.
EFFECT: proposed method enables to improve the quality of seed material.
