SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and plastic surgery. Punctures of the skin of the eyelid and the brow area are performed, a polypropylene thread for hanging the upper eyelid under the circular muscle and along the anterior surface of the tarsal plate is guided, then along the levator, and this thread is fixed to the frontal muscle. At the same time, three punctures are performed on the upper eyelid: central, nasal and temporal, and three punctures above the eyebrow: central, nasal and temporal. For hanging, a 4:0 prolipropylene thread is used. A 23G disposable injection needle is used to guide the thread between adjacent skin punctures. The thread is guided sequentially between the punctures, starting from the central puncture above the eyebrow along the trajectory of the infinity sign so that the ends of the thread are brought into the central puncture above the eyebrow and tied with tension until the planned level of the edge of the eyelid is reached, the skin punctures are sutured.

EFFECT: alignment of the contour of the eyelid and the formation of the symmetry of the palpebral folds, the reduction of surgical trauma and operation time, the minimization of scarring after surgery, the ease and minimum trauma if necessary to remove the suspension, the reliable fixation of the suspension material in the tissues of the upper eyelid.
