FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used in the field of electrical engineering for the transmission of information signals, for example, for dispatch control, emergency control automation, relay protection of power facilities, etc. According to the method, a carrier high-frequency signal is modulated with the initial information signal intended for transmission, thereby forming an input high-frequency information signal, which is converted by means of a coupling device into an output information high-frequency signal and is introduced into the power line. A modulated high-frequency electric field is formed in the connecting device with an input high-frequency information signal, by means of which a standing magnetoelectric wave is excited in a ferrite rod of a finite length, the antinode of which is recorded by an induction sensor and an output information modulated signal is formed by this sensor in the form of an induction EMF, and the output high-frequency information signal is introduced into power transmission line directly, while the high-frequency electric field is excited at the frequency of electromechanical resonance in such a way that one period of the excited standing magnetoelectric wave fits in the structure of the ferrite rod along its entire length.
EFFECT: invention increases reliability of information transmission over the power supply network and improves the transmission quality, regardless of the transmission characteristics of the network and its electromagnetic interference.
