FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and fat industry. A method for producing sunflower oil, characterized by the fact that pressed sunflower oil with a temperature of 100-110°C, containing unseparated impurities and suspended particles, is cooled in a heat exchanger to 7°C and fed through a tube (7) to the lower part of a cylindrical conical container (1) till filling, which is installed in the well (2) on a cylindrical stand (3), then the sunflower oil is kept at a constant temperature of 7°C for up to 30 days to perform oil sedimentation/filtration, next, the cylindrical conical container (1) is vertically raised above the level of the well (2) and first oil sludge, and then sunflower oil, is drained.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain unrefined sunflower oil with a natural aroma, color of the original vegetable raw materials, while preserving the natural viscosity, high consumer qualities with a long shelf life.
