FIELD: air filtration.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for air filtration. A block of a filtering unit and a water heater containing such a block are proposed. The filter unit assembly contains a filter housing connected to the inner surface of the base panel provided in the water heater casing and containing a flow space formed together with the inner surface of the base panel, an inlet for communicating with the flow space, and a filter unit assembled together with the filter housing with detachable and containing an air filter for filtering the air entering through the air intake opening provided in the base panel. The filter assembly is made in a sliding structure that can be inserted into and removed from the filter housing through the inlet. The water heater comprises a casing containing an internal space, a base panel for covering the upper part of the internal space, the base panel comprising an air intake hole made through the base panel for introducing air into the internal space, and the filter assembly described above.

EFFECT: facilitating cleaning, replacement, repair of the air filter, facilitating the installation/dismantling of the filter unit, increasing productivity and extending the service life of the water heater.
