FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing D-camphor anils, which may be of interest as antiviral agents and antiagers for rubber. The method includes the interaction of D-camphor, an aniline derivative and tetraisopropyl ortho-titanate in molar ratios of 1:1.1:0.55-1.1 in the presence of trifluoromethane sulfonic acid, as a catalyst, at 175-180°C until the calculated amount of isopropanol is almost completely removed, followed by the release of the product by dissolving the reaction mass in methyl tert-butyl ether, neutralizing the acidic medium with a saturated aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate, while before distillation the solvent organic layer is filtered through a thin layer of silica gel for thin layer chromatography, and the cubic residue after distilling the solvent is fractionated in vacuum.
EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to obtain target products with a good yield and purity using a simplified technology.
