FIELD: shaft blank cold straightening.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for cold straightening of a shaft blank. The device is made in form of a slipway containing housing, a support for a shaft blank and a power drive for transverse deformation of the shaft blank. The power drive of the transverse deformation of the shaft blank is made in the form of a soft balloon made of rubberized material and made with the possibility of filling it with water, the length of which is equal to the length of the shaft blank, the slipway body is collapsible and contains an upper part with a cover installed on it with a cavity for a coolant and the lower part having a bottom, while the soft balloon is built into the upper part of the body and is configured to cover the surface of the shaft blank along its entire length, and the supports for the shaft blank are made in the form of prisms attached to the bottom of the lower part of the body.
EFFECT: increased device reliability.
