FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used in manufacture of shaft-type parts. To achieve technical result on the surface of the processed part thread is cut and laid on a horizontal roller conveyor, by means of a controlled worm gearbox through a hollow shaft of its wheels, the part is screwed into the hydraulic power drive, section is heated to tempering temperature and force is applied by means of hydraulic power drive of axial deformation by specified value of plastic deformation and controlling the plastic deformation value with allowance for the coefficient of temperature expansion of the part and, when it is achieved, holding at tempering temperature, then, the part is cooled and unloaded by reducing axial tensile forces in each section in proportion to cooling temperature reduction rate to ambient temperature, magnitude of elastic residual deformation is measured and compared with specified value of setter deformation and at mismatch loading-unloading cycle is repeated and starts from underload force value, reheated to tempering temperature and performed additional dumping of this section with application of compression force to equality of preset and current value of deformation and at their equality deformation process is stopped.

EFFECT: improvement of part quality due to reduction of residual stresses.
