SUBSTANCE: device contains a holder with a U-shaped elastic element, with a cutting insert fastening head attached to the working branch. It is equipped with a waveguide resonator mounted on the said working branch of the elastic element, inside which a guide sleeve is installed with the possibility of longitudinal movement along the Z axis, one end of which is rigidly fixed in the working elastic branch, and the other is installed in the working part of the cutting plate attachment head. At the same time, an adjusting screw with a fine thread is screwed inside the guide sleeve.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and quality of the machined surface and productivity of the turning process.
