FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for boring deep high-precision holes. Proposed device comprises drill with taper or cylindrical shank and working part to allow feeding ultrasound vibrations into cutting zone. Waveguide complex hollow oscillation resonator is arranged between shank and drill working part. Said resonator outer surface has two- and multi-start helical grooves. Said resonator houses guide axle with one end rigidly fixed in shank body and another end articulated with drill working parts to translate there along. Drill working part length is multiple of longitudinal vibration half wavelength. Drill shank has outer extending belts arranged at longitudinal oscillation antinode points.
EFFECT: higher precision of holes and drilling efficiency.
