FIELD: heat exchange technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat exchange technology and can be used in steam generating plants for nuclear power plants. The horizontal steam generator contains a horizontal body, heat exchange tubes and coolant pipes. Distributing and collecting headers are made in the form of a single vessel, divided by a partition into upper and lower parts in such a way that heat exchange pipes connect the upper part of the vessel with its lower part. The specified vessel in its upper and lower parts is welded to the horizontal body in such a way that the upper part of the vessel passes through the upper generatrix of the horizontal body, is located outside the horizontal body and is closed with a lid. The lower part of the vessel passes through the lower generatrix of the horizontal body and is closed by a welded bottom, in which at least two coolant pipes are located, while a pipe located in the lower part of the vessel is connected to one of the coolant pipes.
EFFECT: decrease in the specific gravity, an increase in the specific power, reliability and safety of a horizontal steam generator.
