At the value of the index of deformability of red blood cells from 0.12 to 0.23 inclusive, the first degree of chronic venous insufficiency is diagnosed. At the value of the index of deformability of red blood cells from 0.24 to 0.36 inclusive, the second degree of chronic venous insufficiency is diagnosed. If the value of the index of deformability of red blood cells exceeds 0.37 inclusive, the third degree of chronic venous insufficiency is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to determine the degree of venous insufficiency in the early stages by determining the degree of deformability of red blood cells, which is an important factor in maintaining the necessary perfusion in the microcirculatory bloodstream.
