FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of precision instrument making, it can be used in the creation of angular velocity sensors based on a wave solid-state gyroscope (hereinafter – WSG). A method for determining the angular velocity using WSG is that after measuring with WSG sensitive elements the deformation of the resonator edge by shifting the received measurement signal by π/2, an additional signal is formed, based on the measurement of which and taking into account the equation of the WSG resonator edge motion in the sensitivity mode, the further integrated system of differential equations for estimating the movement parameters of the WSG resonator edge in the form of a linear Kalman filter is implemented, in which, as an observer of the state vector, a signal for measuring the deformation of the WSG resonator edge and a signal obtained by scaling the measurement of an additional signal with a coefficient equal to the acceleration frequency due to the action of the excitation elements of the WSG resonator are used. The output of the linear Kalman filter is an optimal mean-square estimate of the amplitude of the deformation of the WSG resonator edge, proportional to the angular velocity of the WSG base and scalable for its determination at discrete moments of time, followed by the formation of the required value of the angular velocity as a result of averaging the scaled values of the estimate of the amplitude of the deformation of the WSG resonator edge.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of determining the angular velocity of an object using WSG for navigation systems.
