FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to an isolated molecule of nucleic acid coding polypeptide, which has insecticidal activity relatively to the pest of Lepidoptera order, as well as to DNA construction, a cell, a plant and a seed containing it. An isolated insecticidal polypeptide having insecticidal activity relatively to the pest of Lepidoptera order, a method for producing it, as well as a composition containing the above-mentioned polypeptide are also disclosed. The invention also relates to the application of the above-mentioned polypeptide in a method for reducing the population of the insect pest of Lepidoptera order, in a method for exterminating the insect pest of Lepidoptera order, as well as in a method for protecting a plant from the insect pest of Lepidoptera order.
EFFECT: invention provides for effective combating the pest of Lepidoptera order.
