FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and can be used in the designs of screw propellers. The floating propeller contains a hub with blades. The blades are formed by an array of viscous medium, for example, water, emanating from a number of cavities made on the outer surface of the propeller hub and located around the circumference of this hub in one plane.
EFFECT: increased reliability of propeller operation due to elimination of blade breakages and significant reduction of acoustic pollution of the environment.
