FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to engine building and can be used in the design and development of the production of highly efficient engines. The substance of the invention lies in the fact that in the compressor section 3 of the engine, the suction and compression strokes of the fresh charge are performed, after which the compressed charge is moved into one of several heat-insulated combustion chambers 4, in which the fresh charge is burned in a closed unchanged volume and from which the combustion products are passed into the expansion section 1. According to the invention, the fresh charge is directed alternately into the combustion chambers 4 by means of the distributor 10, made in the form of a single control device, and the combustion products are passed from the combustion chambers using the same distributor 10, and the compressor 3 and expansion 1 sections are made in the form of units with separate bodies assembled into a single power plant. In this case, the combustion chambers 4 are made with the possibility of stopping their operation depending on the operating mode of the engine.
EFFECT: increasing efficiency of the engine and reducing the toxicity of combustion products by increases the completeness of combustion of the charge.
