FIELD: internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: with crank 15 acting onto spool sleeve 12, owing to its reciprocation and simultaneous rotation, bypass hole 9 gets periodically aligned with combustion control means 3, with intake or exhaust ports 4 or 5 and, as a result, ignition spark, or fresh portion of change (or scavenging gas) is delivered into combustion chamber 2 or exhaust gas is discharged. Two chambers are installed coaxially, and cranks 15 of each chamber move in opposite directions relative to shaft. Change of volume of combustion chamber 2 is provided by displacement of bottom 14 which can be done, for instance, by threaded pair. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 6 cl, 6 dwg
