FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in railway transport and relates to automation and telemechanics devices for controlling car retarders on marshalling humps. The control system of the pneumatic drive of the car retarder with pneumatic cylinders driven braking mechanisms of the right and left wheels of the car cut, with the main pneumatic line connecting the pneumatic cylinders, contains an air collector connected to the main pneumatic line, at least one pneumatic line, which has a pneumatic air pressure regulator, consisting of constructive brake and release direct-flow valves; an electro-pneumatic valve control unit for a pneumatic pressure regulator, including an air pressure regulator controlled by two pneumatic valves with electromagnets; pressure sensors in the main pneumatic line, air collector and in the control cavity of the brake valve; pneumatic valves with electromagnets that control the release valve; switching unit; an electronic unit with modules for analog and discrete signals for controlling electromagnets, the inputs of which are connected through a controller and a switching unit with control outputs from the hump station; operator panel with interface. The control method for the described system of the pneumatic drive of the carriage retarder is implemented in accordance with the program loaded into the controller or into the non-volatile memory of the electronic control unit to perform actions in accordance with the specified algorithm.
EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of control of the magnitude of the braking force of the wheels of the car, as well as a decrease in air consumption during the operation of the car retarder.
