FIELD: wireless communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication and can be used for signal processing. According to the processing method, multiple signals are defined wherein the signals are quasi-aligned with a first set of ports of the first reference signal, wherein the first set of ports is used to send or receive a first reference signal, and the first set of ports comprises all antenna ports for sending or receiving the first reference signal. The first reference signal and any of the multiple signals have identical or similar large-scale channel parameters, or the beam for sending or receiving the first reference signal is identical or similar to the beam for sending or receiving any of the multiple signals. A target signal is determined from said multiple signals and the first reference signal is sent or received via the first set of ports in accordance with the quasi-alignment ratio between the first set of ports and the target signal.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of estimation of the reference signal channel and determination of the optimal transmission beam for the reference signal.
