FIELD: air purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of environmental safety, particularly, to air purification and ventilation systems, and can be used in living spaces, medical institutions, enterprises, in agriculture. The apparatus is comprised of a dielectric cylindrical body in the lower part whereof an inlet annular window for intake of purified air is made, and located inside the body is a corona electrode - an emitter in form of a flat conductive ring with needles located in the plane of the ring, arranged evenly thereon and directed with the tips radially to the centre of the ring, located wherein is a positive electrode - a collector, located at the top whereof is an integral outlet grate for the outflowing purified air in form of a circle with a radius smaller than the radius of the emitter ring. The collector is made in form of an odd number of consequently located fragments of bodies of revolution, the first whereof faces the base of the body with the large base thereof, the second fragment is installed on the narrow base of the first fragment forming a fragment of the collector of the first area, wherein the emitter of the first area is located in the plane of connection thereof, and the last fragment is connected with the base of the grate by the narrow base thereof, wherein the emitter of the last area is located in the plane of connection thereof.
EFFECT: performance coefficient of the apparatus is increased due to a high output flow rate.
