FIELD: weaponry.
SUBSTANCE: artillery mount contains a weapon and a fairing with a groove for the weapon barrels in the front of it. The fairing consists of a base, a cover and hinges, which make it possible to lift the cover upwards relative to the base, which is split in the vertical plane, consisting of front and rear parts. The fairing cover is split vertically and consists of two side parts. The plane of the cover connector passes through the groove for the weapon barrels. The hinges connecting the base and the side parts of the cover are installed on the side of the front part of the fairing and are made detachable, each of the half-loops is connected to each other by a removable axis around which the side parts of the cover are rotated in the vertical plane. For the convenience of opening and holding in the open position of the lid or any part of it, spring-loaded telescopic posts are installed on the opposite side of the hinges, one for each part of the lid, fixed on the inner side of the base and the corresponding parts of the lid. When the fairing is fully assembled, the side parts of the cover, the front and rear parts of the base are fixed to each other with tension locks installed on their inner surfaces. To relieve excess gas pressure generated during firing inside the fairing, a spring-loaded retainer is provided, fixed between either of the two side parts of the cover and the rear part of the base. For the convenience of mounting or dismounting parts of the fairing, handles are installed on the outer surface of the cover and base, which are at the same time steps for inspecting and servicing the artillery installation when the fairing is fully assembled. On the back of the base is a door that opens when the cover is lifted. To ensure the water resistance of the artillery mount, seals are installed between the split parts of the cover and the base along the split lines, as well as between the cover and the base along the split line.
EFFECT: facilitates and simplifies the installation, dismantling and repair of weapons of artillery mounts by eliminating the installation, removal and lifting of the fairing entirely.
