FIELD: glass fiber production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of continuous high-modulus fibers from a thermoplastic material and can be used in factories producing fiberglass products. The device for the production of continuous high-modulus glass fibers from a thermoplastic material with a high temperature of the upper limit of crystallization with the presence of components in their composition: SiO2 55-70%, Al2O3 20-26%, MgO 8-26%, contains a body framed by side and end walls, a bushing plate with bushing nozzles, a screen with an upper overlap with loading nozzles. All elements of the device are made of precious metals of the platinum group. The screen is perforated over the entire area, and the upper floor is made of a refractory material in the form of a block with loading holes. The thickness of the upper floor block is in the range of 80-160 mm. The ratio of the total cross-section of the holes in the screen perforated over the entire area to the total cross-section of the internal through holes of the bushing nozzles is in the range of 1.5:5.6, and the ratio of the total cross-section of the screen perforated over the entire area and the upper side walls to the cross-section of the bushing plate is within the range of 1.2:1.6.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the service life of the device, as well as reduce the loss of precious metals.
