FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: connections of the propulsion jet device with the ship hull are vibration-isolated and moisture-proofed using the shock pads of U-shape, at that the drive engine is secured on the water pipe casing rigidly such that output shaft of the drive engine and propeller shaft are installed coaxially vertically or with deviation from vertical, and are rigidly connected with each other. The water pipe casing has cavities, one cavity creates oil crankcase connected with lubricating system of the drive engine, and another cavity creates exhaust header connected with exhaust system of spent gases of the drive engine, and HP zone of the water pipe is connected with the cooling system of the drive engine. The drive engine is made as internal-combustion engine of the outboard engine.
EFFECT: decreased dimensions and significant simplification of design of propulsion jet device due to mutual integration of the assemblies and systems of the drive engine and jet mover, and simplification of its installation and dismounting, exclusion of the effect of the vibration loads generated during the device operation on the ship hull.
