FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. The device for correcting the angular position of the camshaft of an internal combustion engine contains coaxially placed plate (1), driving and driven elements (2), (3) of the kinematic chain for transmitting torque from the crankshaft to the camshaft, interconnected by two dynamically balanced centrifugal mechanisms mounted on the stove (1). The plate (1) is rigidly connected to the driven element (3). Each plate-mounted centrifugal mechanism contains a two-arm lever (4). One arm of the two-armed lever (4) is connected by means of a toothed engagement (5) to a toothed sector (8) attached to the driving element (2). The second shoulder of the two-armed lever (4) is rigidly connected by means of the connecting link of the kinematic chain of transmission of the control force to the element of the active mass package with the smallest mass and the most distant from the rotation axis. Elements (I), (II) of the active mass are installed with the ability to move along the guides (11) radially and rectilinearly in the active state. The termination of the force interaction of the elements (I), (II) of the active mass with the connecting link is carried out sequentially and alternately. The amount of movement of each active element (I), (II) of the mass is limited by the corresponding stopping device (12). The active mass of the centrifugal mechanism is presented in form of a section of pivotally connected active elements (I), (II) with the possibility of angular mutual movement relative to adjacent elements in the plane of rotation of the centrifugal mechanism. Each section of elements connected by means of hinges ends with the outermost and smallest element in mass, rigidly connected to the connecting link. The stopping devices of each active element of the section are located so that they provide each element (I), (II) of the section package with the amount of movement specified by the developer and exclude the possibility of a one-time transition to the passive state and back of the ends of the element of the same name. The fastening of the toothed sector (8) on the driving element (2) is made with the possibility of adjustment in the tangential direction.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the smoothness of the transition of elements from the active state to the passive state and vice versa, and in increasing the sensitivity of the device to a change in the angular velocity of the shaft.
