FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring equipment and relates to an integral optical sensor for determining the presence of impurities in air-gas media. The sensor includes input and output elements of radiation placed on a substrate made of an optically transparent dielectric material with a refractive index N1, and a sensitive element in the form of a waveguide, also made of an optically transparent dielectric material with a refractive index N2, where N2>N1. The sensing element is a discrete waveguide in the form of a chain of Mi-resonant subwavelength nanoparticles located at a subwavelength distance from each other. The elements for input and output of radiation are made in the form of waveguides with a rectangular cross section, having subwavelength transverse dimensions, and located at a subwavelength distance from the extreme nanoparticles of the sensitive element.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing the size and increasing the sensitivity of the sensor.
