FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: electromagnet-thermocouple system for the redundant safety of gas supply to burners or similar purposes, in particular for the redundant safety control of home cooking devices, which contains: at least one gas burner, and this burner is connected to the gas supply source through flame control devices and through a safety valve actuated by a flame sensor consisting of a thermocouple; the said safety valve, which has an open state in which the said gas supply source supplies [gas] to the said burner, and a closed state in which the gas flow is stopped; and in this case, the thermocouple, in the presence of a flame, generates an electrical signal, which is the control signal of the said safety valve to transfer the said safety valve from the open state to the closed state and vice versa, and at the same time, there is a control signal generator and a power supply unit of the said safety valve for temporarily and alternately powering this safety valve during the ignition stage of the flame heating the thermocouple to the temperature when the control signal is generated. According to the present invention, this signal generator and power supply unit contain power limiters to limit the generated signal and a device for automatic deactivation as soon as the power supply is overloaded for a predetermined period of time and the power required for the control signal of the safety valve exceeds that set by these limiters.

EFFECT: increased safety and easier switching on of the cooking device (gas supply initiation).
