SUBSTANCE: heater includes one or more inlet holes for gas and for air, one or more gas burners, where gas is ignited, one or more heat-emitting elements that emit infrared radiation using energy released with the help of gas burners, one or more ionisation sensors that are located near heat-emitting elements, to detect the availability of a flame, a body holding the gas burners, the heat-emitting elements and ionising sensors, control units, electrically connected to the ionisation sensors and to the inlet holes for gas, at the same time the control units are made as capable of actuation for disconnection of gas supply, when the ionisation sensors detect no flame available.
EFFECT: such heater may operate with the preservation of safety under windy conditions.
