FIELD: engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an ultra-deep underground traction system located horizontally and to a method for application thereof. The traction system is comprised a set of roller heads, a set of multi-cable guiding pulleys, sets of single-cable guiding pulleys, driving steel cables, a driven steel cable, sets of driving drums, a left container and right container, as well as a tension balance control system. The set of roller heads is comprised of a main roller head and an auxiliary roller head. The left multi-cable guiding pulley and the right multi-cable guiding pulley are located at the bottom of the shaft of the vertical borehole, and the central axes thereof are horizontally symmetrical. An even number of sets of single-cable guiding pulleys, driving steel cables and sets of driving drums are provided. The tension balance control system is formed by a pump station, a left set of hydraulic cylinders and a right set of hydraulic cylinders, as well as an even number of coils. All coils are provided on the bottom of the left container, and two driving steel cables are wound onto each coil. The bottom of the right container is connected with all driving steel cables.
EFFECT: this invention can significantly raise the load capacity of the system and increase the surrounding angle of the steel drive cables on the drums so that the friction between the steel drive cables and the wheels is increased; thus, slipping of the steel drive cables is maximally prevented and wear thereof is reduced; the traction system according to this invention has a simple design and exhibits high reliability.
