FIELD: polymers.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of introducing an additive into a polymer by drawing an elongated polymer item in a physically active liquid medium. The method includes simultaneous or consequential drawing of an elongated polymer item in at least two directions in a physically active liquid medium containing one or several dissolved additives. The polymer constitutes an amorphous glass-like or crystalline polymer. An unoriented or partially oriented polymer film is used as an elongated polymer item which is subjected to simultaneous biaxial drawing with consequential drawing in at least two directions including initial drawing and additional drawing. Additional drawing is performed at an angle of 10 to 90 degrees in a direction different from the direction of initial drawing.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing the content of introduced additives compared to uniaxial drawing and producing nanocomposites with alternating zones filled with identical or differing additives and directed at an angle relative to each other.
