FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for producing nanoporous polymers with open pores, which can be used in the manufacturing of porous polymer products, such as films, filters, membranes and other gas-permeable materials. Method includes the steps of uniaxial or biaxial drawing of a polymer product in a physically active liquid medium, ensuring wetting of the product surface and forming a porous structure, followed by heat fixing the product in a physically active liquid medium. Moreover, the removal of the medium is carried out after heat fixing while keeping the product in the tensioned state.
EFFECT: obtained nanoporous polymers based on amorphous glassy or crystalline polymers are characterized by increased bulk porosity and vapor permeability.
