FIELD: space industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of space structures, namely the design of space station bodies directly in outer space using modules previously placed into orbit that can receive large spacecraft. At the same time, the task of protecting people in the center of the building from radiation is being solved, and repair and maintenance can be carried out without spacesuits. It is also possible to create complex spaces in the enclosure. These problems are solved due to the special design of the module using metal plates with reverse curvature in it (1). The plates have such a curvature of the outer surfaces, which, due to the choice of their cross-section (2), provides these large volumes (3). Disclosed are means for sealing and pneumatic means for maintaining the volume, which are supplied to the modules, in the form of a single Kevlar membrane for each cylindrical volume, consisting of two flat round plates interconnected along the length of the body in working condition also by flat parts. The round membrane elements for sealing the ends and the elements connecting them are made in one piece and initially rolled up in the form of rolls. Rolls are able to unfold in the cylindrical volumes of the station body using pneumatics. The plates of the modules are also provided with means arranged in the thickness of the plates of the module to create a predetermined layout of the housing space.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to significantly expand the range of already known technical means and to solve the most important technical problems of the space industry.
