SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for banknote processing and to a method for controlling banknote processing. The present invention proposes an imaging tool configured to generate an image of a banknote processing apparatus and a figure of the operator working with the banknote processing apparatus, and a recording tool recording data, images by the imaging tool, a visually identifiable identification number is applied at least on one surface of the guide card, said imaging means is configured to form an image of the identification number and the recording tool records the displayed image data.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the banknote processing system.
