SUBSTANCE: invention relates to animal husbandry, in particular to systems for protecting objects of the agro-industrial complex, distribution and receiving devices of energy from rodents (rats, mice). An electrocontact trap of lethal impact on rodents with an optical bait contains a case consisting of a cone-shaped lid, a protective mesh, a horizontal plane, a grounded plane-electrode and a container for collecting affected rodents, in which there are an optical bait, an optical sensor (receiver), and an optical sensor (emitter) The trap also includes a lid of the container for collecting rodents, electrodes in the form of springs connected to an impulsive high-voltage generator, which receives control signals from the control circuit and attracts rodents due to optical radiation in the green spectrum.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of the rodent extermination.
