FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: device for disinfecting seeds is proposed, comprising a frame on which a hopper-dispenser, ultraviolet lamps, a vibrator and a tray are located. The tray mounted on shock absorbers is connected through a vibrator to a frequency converter, which controls the movement speed of seeds on the tray. Ultraviolet lamps with parabolic reflectors are located above the tray, at the end of which there is a fan. The ultraviolet lamps with parabolic reflectors are placed in a casing made of a material that does not transmit ultraviolet radiation, and an ultraviolet radiation intensity sensor is fixed on the tray in the processing zone.
EFFECT: controlled process of ultraviolet irradiation of seeds to disinfect the treated crop.
